Recordings uploaded on the internet capture the chopper beginning to twirl above the shoreline then falling near the perimeter of the coast, where it becomes wedged among palm trees and a staircase close to the Pacific Coast highway. Rescue Operation Update Emergency responders stated five individuals were rushed to the hospital comprising two individuals who were in the chopper and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” after the crash on Saturday. Three individuals on the pavement were injured. Details on their injuries were still under review. What led to the incident was still under investigation. Planned Function Officials mentioned the chopper was linked to an annual “Cars with Copters” charity gathering scheduled for the following day.
